I recently revisited a home I had previously reviewed in the Mills Estates neighborhood of Millbrae. I originally reviewed this home in the beginning of October when it had only been on the market a couple weeks. I am a little surprised that it hasn’t sold yet considering the low level of inventory throughout Millbrae.
This home had a whopping price reduction of $100k on November 15th and the property is currently listed at $1,175,000. The pricing was most likely impacted by 19 Vallejo, which was listed below $1 million, and sold on October 12th with a final sales price of $1,050,000.
As the inventory levels continue to remain low and the number of buyers still anxious to get into Millbrae and take advantage of the low interest rates, I would be very surprised if this does not sell. But real estate, like the weather, can be full of surprises, so I look forward to seeing what will happen.
