My Review of 217 La Cruz - A Move-in Ready Home in Heart of Downtown

A review of 217 La Cruz, a beautiful Spanish-style home in the heart of downtown thats move-in ready, while still having potential for would-be buyers to update some areas and make it their own.

Located in the heart of downtown, 217 La Cruz is a beautiful Spanish-style home that is move-in ready, while still having potential for would-be buyers to update some areas and make it their own. This home is just up the block from Magnolia, which is a fairly busy street, but La Cruz itself is fairly small and quiet, to the point that some Millbrae folks might not recognize the street name right away.

My favorite part of the house is actually the part that needs more work, which is the downstairs bonus room area. This is a large space with wood flooring, a dry bar area, and its own fireplace. I say this is my favorite because it provides a lot of space to develop in different ways, whether an entertainment room, home gym, personal office, or perhaps a little studio for music or art. It also includes a full bathroom with shower, which will probably need updating while you’re working on the rest of the area.

Priced at $1,188,000, this home is slightly above the average price of $1,149,333 for all single family homes in Millbrae, and is sure to get good activity. As the largest home at 2,320 stated square footage, it prices at $512 per square foot as compared to $563 for homes sold in Millbrae in the last 90 days. Although an older home, it clearly shows well and I would be very surprised if this does not sell within the next 30 days.

I give this home a five star overall for it's floorplan, curb appeal and overall value.  See my full review with more property highlights on my blog.
