Girl Scouts 100th Anniversary Celebration

Girl scouts from Millbrae and San Bruno will be celebrating the organization's 100-year anniversary tonight with a rally at Millbrae City Hall.

All former, current and future girl scouts are invited to sing songs and enjoy refreshments.

Scouts are asked to meet at the flag post near the Millbrae Library and the Millbrae Historical Society at 6:45 p.m.

The Girl Scouts were founded in Savannah, Ga. on March 12, 1912. It started with 18 girls, and now includes over 3.2 million girls.
