Getting Coverage Under the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare)

In 2010, the federal government enacted the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, which aims to increase the number of Americans with health insurance and cut the overall costs of health care.  Join the League Of Women Voters and the San Mateo City Library as we learn how the new Covered California Healthcare  Exchange will work to provide health insurance options when it opens October 1, 2013. 

A Covered CA Certified Educator will provide a presentation and help answer questions about the new Exchange.
