German Family Karneval

The Berkeley
campus of the German International School of Silicon Valley (GISSV), is proud
to bring the German Family Karneval to the Bay Area.  Join us on Saturday, March 1st from
12:00pm-5:00pm at 1581 LeRoy Avenue, Berkeley, 94708

Since 1341, Germany
has celebrated Fasching or Karneval from Bavaria to Bremen. Known as Mardi Gras
around the world, it's a time to forget about your everyday problems and enjoy
life to its fullest.

We invite people
of all ages to GISSV's Berkeley Campus where you'll experience our authentic
cuisine & traditions featuring specially crafted beers & wine,
sausages, sauerkraut, sweets, music 
& entertainment from Germany and beyond.

Arts &
crafts, carnival games and a petting zoo for the kids, so wear your costume and
join the parade! Admission is free.
