Dense fog and low-lying clouds are causing flight delays of up to an hour at San Francisco International Airport this morning, an airport duty manager said.
The cloud and fog layer will likely cause delays ranging from 45 minutes to an hour throughout the morning, especially for flights arriving from destinations west of the Mississippi River, the manager said.
Airport officials are preparing for flight delays through 2 p.m. but say that could change if weather conditions improve. The National Weather Service is reporting that this morning's cloud cover is expected to lift later in the day.
