Police Blotter: Naked Man and Stolen Safes

The following information was supplied by the Millbrae Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Feb. 2

1:16 p.m., 1400 block of Madera Way. Between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., a burglar broke into a home through a sliding glass bedroom window, taking two stand-up safes and jewelry. The residents estimate the value of the stolen items at over $10,000. No suspects have been identified.

Feb. 4

3:02 p.m., 525 El Camino Real, Safeway. Two victims had their wallets stolen out of their shopping carts. The manager told police that a woman attempted to buy $800 worth of gifts cards and she drove a black Chevrolet Blazer. Police stopped a similar vehicle in the parking lot, but it was not the suspect described by the manager.

Feb. 5

9:31 p.m., 1250 El Camino Real. A man was arrested for walking out of his room naked in front of several people. He was taken to county jail and booked for indecent exposure.

 

Feb. 6

3:26 p.m., 800 block of Larkspur Dr. Residents left the garage door open and a suspect took jewelry from the house. No forced entry.
