Millbrae Vice Mayor Elected to County Commission

Marge Colapietro was elected on Jan. 28.

San Mateo County cities and towns elected Millbrae Vice Mayor Marge Colapietro last week as the chairperson of two agencies that coordinate appointments to various county organizations.

The first, the San Mateo County Council of Cities, meets monthly to discuss topics of county wide interest, such as media relations and issues facing San Francisco International Airport.

The second, the City Selection Committee, is comprised of all county mayors, and meets to appoint candidates to various county boards, such as SamTrans.
