Peter C. Philippeos, 46, was found guilty on Friday of felony possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
Millbrae police found Philippeos and a friend asleep at a stop sign on Magnolia Avenue on Aug. 22, 2010. Police arrested Philippeos for drunk driving, while the passenger was dropped off at Caltrain.
The police searched Philippeos’ truck and found a backpack with four packages of marijuana in the glove box. He admitted that he sells the baggies for $40-45 per baggie, according to San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe.
The jury deliberated for two and a half hours on Friday, and a judge will impose Philippeos’ sentence on Feb. 17. He remains in custody on a $15,000 bail bond.
