The in San Bruno will host a public Memorial Day program to honor fallen soldiers at 10:30 a.m. on Monday.
Former US Congressman Paul McCloskey, a Marine Corps veteran, will give the keynote address, and a Marine Corps color guard and nine veterans organizations will be in attendance.
Members of the public can also join local veterans and Boys and Girls Scouts on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. in planting 112,600 small US flags on grave sites.
