Man Found Guilty for Meth in Millbrae

The man caught at Fairfield Inn & Suites last year was in trial last week.

A San Francsico man has been found guilty of felony posession of methamphetamine for sale in a Millbrae hotel.

On Thursday, a jury deliberated for an hour and found the defendant, Jesse Lin Antolin, 48, guilty of the charge.

Antolin was caught at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Millbrae on Jan. 21, 2011 with one ounce of methamphetamine and $10,000 in cash. He had five prior felony convictions for possession of meth with intent to sell, as well as five separate imprisonments for felonies between 1994 and 2008.

In March, a San Mateo County judge ruled that the defendant was not competent to stand trial at that time, based on two court appointed doctors' reports.

As of Friday, the defendant was in custody on $150,000 bail. The next court date is Dec. 18 for the imposition of sentence.
