Bucket of White Powder Found at SFO
No injuries occurred and no flights were impacted.
A bucket containing a white powdery substance was found near a curb at San Francisco International Airport this morning, an airport duty manager said.
The San Francisco Fire Department's hazardous materials team was dispatched to the airport after the bucket was found between Terminals 1 and 2 in the upper-level departure area around 8:45 a.m., duty manager Shannon Wilson said.
Wilson said no flights have been affected and no injuries have been reported.
