Crestmoor Elementary School, located at 2322 Crestmoor Drive, was evacuated this morning after teachers reported smelling gas around 8 a.m.
Classes were cancelled and children were taken to Parkside Intermediate School. After PG&E crews arrived, they reported no leak. The smell was likely caused by a heater turned on this morning, according to PG&E spokesman Jeff Smith.
