Repeated Delays Reported at Millbrae BART station

Computer problem affecting trackside equipment remains unresolved.

A release from officials at the Bay Area Rapid Transit System (BART) admits what many of us have experienced since the early part of the month. Here's the release sent to Patch:

"Beginning Friday, May 4 many customers using the Millbrae Station have experienced service delays leaving from and going to the station. These intermittent service interruptions are due to a computer problem that affects trackside equipment.

While the problem does not compromise service safety, we know that the delays have adversely affected your commute and is not the level of BART service you have come to expect.

We apologize for the inconvenience you may have experienced. BART staff is working to permanently resolve this problem.
