The old Clarion Hotel in Millbrae is ready for its grand opening as a new type of airport hotel-- Aloft San Francisco Airport by Starwood Hotels and Resorts.
On Wednesday night, the hotel will open its doors for the first time during a celebration featuring food, music and Starwood President and CEO Frits van Paasschen.
The company’s President of Global Development Simon Turner and SVP of Specialty Select Brands Brian McGuinness will also be on hand.
The opening of the Aloft marks the first conversion of an existing hotel for the brand. The makeover included re-doing 252 rooms in the six-story hotel.
Keep an eye out tomorrow for Patch’s coverage of the grand opening.
