Big Appetites and Big Portions at Big Mouth Burgers

New restaurant eating up Broadway.

Month old Big Mouth Burgers has made Millbrae's its third home attracting old and new patrons with more than 20 dishes to choose from such as burgers, sandwiches, salads, hot dogs and a kid's menu. Options include various meats, free range chicken, turkey, salmon and vegetarian.

Big Mouth Burgers Owner Ibrahim Debabneh says patrons have options to build their own meals from a variety of breads and cheeses to compliment the home made spreads and salad dressings.

Debabneh, who has a background in food and beverage, launched his first Big Mouth Burgers in San Francisco in 1997. Two years ago, he opened a second one in San Bruno. Armed with these successes, he took over 675 Broadway, where Quizno's once stood.

He says it was one of his patrons who first saw and told him about the vacancy. Without hesitation, Debabneh seized on the opportunity and is very happy of the response, saying he's always eyed Millbrae as a possible venture.

Big flat screens and Bay Area sports memorabilia grace the walls, opened just in time for the baseball season.
