Police and SWAT Training Exercises at Millbrae Bart

On Friday, county SWAT and Bart will conduct training exercises at the Bart station.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Friday BART Police and San Mateo County SWAT will conduct joint training exercises at Millbrae Station. A similar event was held last year with the FBI and San Mateo County Sheriffs Department.

The purpose of the training is to prepare for possible future emergencies in the system. The training should not affect service. Please do not be alarmed if you hear or observe activity related to this special training or if you see uniformed officers accessing the training area, or emergency vehicles parked in the parking lot on that day. We appreciate your understanding of the need for these types of practice events.

BART conducts drills throughout the year with other local and regional agencies. You can also prepare for future emergencies by visiting www.72hours.org.
