9:56 a.m.: Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Millwood Drive where a car was reportedly blocking a driveway.  Upon arrival officers noted that the car was indeed blocking the driveway.  The car was towed to a storage yard where it probably isn’t blocking anything.

February 13, 2013
11:25 a.m.: Police had occasion to talk to Robert Hoffmann, a 25-year-old San Carlos man, in the 1400 block of Broadway.  Hoffmann was found to be in possession of a controlled substance, under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of a syringe.  He was arrested.

Editor’s Note:  Sometimes you might find items in the police log that seem humorous but please remember, the men and women whose job it is to protect us rarely find it funny when they are approaching a drunk person or a building where the alarm is going off.
