Most City Employee Salaries Reduced for 2011
A full list of employee salaries for 2010 and 2011.
Patch obtained salary numbers for every person employed by the City of Millbrae. Below are the salaries of the directors for each city department for 2010 and 2011. For a full list of salaries, consult the attached documents.
Numbers are based on the employee's regular salary, which does not include overtime, holiday pay and benefits. The Community Development Department is not included, as there was a change in leadership from 2010 to 2011.
The majority of city workers' base salaries were cut by about five percent from 2010 to 2011, while others had a reduction in vacation time.

Ann, these are salaries for 2011. The police department will be outsourced later this year, so the city will realize the savings this fiscal year.

in these tough times, we need to have a monthly income (employment) AND a daily income (business) "at the same time" to survive and to still be able to meet our needs and a few wants in life. when the tough gets going, the going must get tough too, as they say. but most important of all, we need to save like an ant saving for rainy days. wealth is not gained by what we earn but by what we save c' ;}
